Love Knows No Boundaries

***Setting is at Jon's house in NJ after a party. Jon lives alone and is single. ***
Richie stumbled over his own feet, almost falling and spilling half of his alcoholic beverage as he was walking over to Jon. Jon reacted and reached out to catch him, thankfully not needing to.
"You okay Rich?" Jon asked, "you've had a bit to drink."
Richie cursed over and over under his breath at his own actions. Jon put his hand on Richie's back.
"Dude, are you okay?" Jon asked again, worryingly.
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine Jonny," Richie said with a heavy drunken slur.
Jon grabbed ahold of the cup in Richie's hands. Richie let Jon take it away and swayed backwards and forwards, keeping his balance. Jon sat the cup down and then opened his arms up to Richie. Richie practically fell into Jon's embrace, bawling. Jon held him tight.
"I don't think I can do this anymore Jonny. All I do is get my heart broken. I just want to be happy with someone, once in my life and stay that way," Richie said.
Jon tried to hold back his own tears and couldn't. They flowed freely down his face. He wished that somone could be him. He always had but was always too afraid to tell Richie anything about it. He loved everything about Richie; his smiles, his laugh, the way his eyes sparkled when he was with Jon, his scent, humour, height, body (Oh god!), his hair, his heart, his soul... Everything. Richie passed out in Jon's arms. Jon kissed his head and gently carried him to the couch to lay him down. He placed a bottle of water on the coffee table in front of him before hiding all of the alcohol and pouring what was left of his and Richie's down the drain. Jon was a little buzzed, but definitely not drunk. He covered Richie with a blanket and kissed him again on the forehead before turning out all the lights and heading to bed himself. He wanted to carry Richie up to his bed but what would Richie think of him then? Certinally not the way Jon wanted to show Richie his love. He wanted to break it to him easially or at the right moment. Waking up in your friend's bed not remembering the previous night would certainly give anyone a shock.
